In 2024, TLC's two main goals for the One-Room class are to enrich Maria's educational capacity. By supporting her tuition costs for the first of a four-year program at the University in Chinandega, she will work towards a degree in child psychology. Additionally, we aim to recruit a bilingual support teacher. This committed professional will collaborate closely with Maria, providing assistance in developing the curriculum, enhancing the classroom environment, designing stimulating learning "centers," and spearheading STEM and project-based learning initiatives.
